GOODREM SILENCED BY THROAT INFECTION

Australian singer DELTA GOODREM has been forced to postpone a forthcoming gig at the Sydney Opera House after inflaming an existing throat infection. The 23-year-old, who has been suffering from the illness for several months, was ordered by doctors to rest her vocal chords to prevent any longterm damage to her voice. She was due to sing at the Max Sessions concert on Monday (17Dec07), but the show will now take place in February (08).
