GOLDTHWAIT LANDS COMMIE AWARD

Wacky POLICE ACADEMY star BOBCAT GOLDTHWAIT is to receive the first-ever Commie Award at the upcoming Los Angeles Comedy Shorts Film Festival.
The funnyman will be honoured during Sunday's (08Mar09) closing ceremony in Hollywood for his "outstanding comedical achievements in the field of comedy excellence".
Goldthwait's longtime pal Tom Kenny - the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants - will present the star with his Commie. The pair was once part of a comedy double act.
