GOLDBERG'S COMEDY SHOW HALTED BY FAN'S MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Comedian WHOOPI GOLDBERG was forced to cut short her stand-up gig in Las Vegas on Friday (22May09) after a member of the audience collapsed and needed medical attention.
The funny actress was performing at property mogul Steve Wynn's Encore hotel theater when a man reportedly suffered a seizure towards the end of her set.
Goldberg halted her show as medics attended to the male, but decided to finish up early to allow the fan to be treated properly. His condition is currently unknown.
Confirming the news, a Wynn hotel representative tells the Las Vegas Review Journal, "It's not something they usually let us release. Unfortunately, medical issues are common occurrence in theatres. We understand he was talking when the medical people arrived."
