WHOOPI GOLDBERG stunned U.S. pop sensation KATY PERRY on TV show THE VIEW on Monday morning (28Jul08) by planting a kiss on her lips and remarking, "I like it".
Perry was talking about her summer smash hit I Kissed A Girl, which features the line `I kissed a girl and I liked it,' when show co-host Goldberg stepped up from the audience to smooch.
As minister's daughter Perry looked both awed and shocked by the lip lock, Goldberg turned to the studio audience and quipped, "I like it."
Perry joked, "I can rest in peace now."
