GOLDBERG ALL SET FOR RADIO SHOW

LATEST: WHOOPI GOLDBERG is set to add radio host to her impressive resume after agreeing to front a new New York morning show. WAKE UP WITH WHOOPI, a live daily show, will air on the Clear Channel Radio network beginning next week (31JUL06), and the GHOST star cannot wait to show off her skills. She says, "I grew up with radio, so I remember being able to carry a transistor radio with me as a kid and hearing albums break on the radio. "I turned 50 and thought, 'Wow, I have more time so I'm going to try this radio stuff.' I find it fascinating." Goldberg's new radio show will air live on America's east coast from 5am to 9am, and will feature comedy routines, call-ins, guests and music.
