GODSMACK STAR OFFERS HELP IN MURDER PROBE

GODSMACK rocker SULLY ERNA is helping Massachusetts detectives close a murder case after revealing he partied with a woman days before she was found slashed to death by her husband. Erna befriended Christine MCGee and partied with her in the days before her murder last month (Nov07), and police are hoping his recollections can help them understand her jealous husband's motive for killing her. Erna's manager Paul Geary insists his client and MCGee were not romantically involved, but tells the Boston Herald newspaper, "She was pretty enamoured with the whole thing. She was at his house and couldn't believe she was hanging around Sully. She was kind of, like, star-struck."
