GNARLS BARKLEY HIT HOLLYWOOD BOWL
GNARLS BARKLEY played at the Hollywood Bowl for the first time on Sunday (July 27th) and even threw in a RADIOHEAD cover for good measure.
Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse, who have recently released their second album THE ODD COUPLE, were backed by a five-piece band in the legendary venue, reports the NME.
"It's so great to be here at the Hollywood Bowl. I'm acting cool but I'm actually very excited," Green told the audience.
"I'm sure you've heard this a million times but I'm contractually obligated to play this song," he added before launching in to the band's megahit Crazy, from their debut album ST ELSEWHERE.
During the encore, the duo surprised the audience with a cover of RADIOHEAD'S song Reckoner, which featured on their recent album IN RAINBOWS.
"Even though we have chart-shattering tunes of our own, we also have music we enjoy listening to," said Green before the song.
The band recently revealed a gory video for their track Who's Gonna Save My Soul.
