GLITTER RETURNS TO UK
Disgraced former glam rocker Gary Glitter has arrived back in the UK after being deported from Hong Kong last night.
Glitter is now being held at Uxbridge police station, Sky News reports, where sources say he will be asked to sign the sex offenders register.
The 64-year-old, real name Paul Gadd, had been released from a prison in Vietnam after serving nearly three years for sexual molestation of underage girls.
He had found himself in an international limbo after being rejected by both Thailand and Hong Kong. His stay in Bangkok was prolonged after Glitter allegedly feigned heart trouble to prevent a return to Britain.
