GLITTER LAWYER DENIES HONG KONG MOVE

Disgraced rocker GARY GLITTER's lawyer has vehemently denied rumours the convicted paedophile will flee to Hong Kong when he's released from a Vietnamese prison later this year (08). The 63-year-old - who was convicted in Vietnam of committing obscene acts on children in March 2006 - was reportedly lining up a new life in the Chinese city following his three-year stint behind bars, due to end in August. However, the shamed singer's legal team has blasted claims Glitter is planning an escape to Hong Kong following his release. Le Thanh Kinh, Glitter's lawyer, says, "It is not clear where he will go after his release."
