GLASVEGAS CANCEL COACHELLA SHOW

Scottish rockers GLASVEGAS scrapped their appearance at California's Coachella festival on Saturday (18Apr09) after their lead singer fell ill with exhaustion.
The four-piece were set to perform for the first time at the legendary music event in Indio, California, but frontman James Allan was suffering from the extreme heat.
Temperatures at the desert festival topped 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) over the weekend - and the band had to cancel their set after Allan was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration.
A source tells Scottish newspaper Daily Record, "The band are pretty knackered (tired) after a five-week schedule of non-stop touring around America.
"This, along with Coachella being in the middle of the desert, which is a shock to the system for us Scottish people, has just compounded the exhaustion."
