GLASTONBURY OFFICIALS CONFIDENT THEY BROKE KISS RECORD

LATEST: British band MADNESS and the organisers of England's Glastonbury Festival are confident they've shattered the world record for the number of people kissing at the same time. The It Must Be Love group halted their Glastonbury set at 1.30am on 24 June (07) when singer Suggs instructed everyone to start smooching. Organisers believe more than 25,000 people then kissed the person next to them, breaking the current record of 12,800 people which was set in Hungary. Official confirmation as to whether the record was broken or not will come from Guinness World Records in the next few days.
