GLASS CALLS ON OLD PUNKS FOR TIBET HOUSE SHOW
Acclaimed movie composer PHILIP GLASS is set to turn this year's (07) Tibet House benefit concert into a old punk reunion after asking LOU REED, PATTI SMITH and DEBORAH HARRY to join him onstage.
Glass, the artistic director of the 26 February (07) New York concert - the 17th annual Tibet House benefit - has also invited LAURIE ANDERSON, SIGUR ROS and former THE KINKS star RAY DAVIES to perform.
Proceeds from the charity show, to be held at Madison Square Garden, will benefit the Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey and Farm Aid.
