GIRL BAND VOTED OFF X FACTOR

Girl Band have become the latest act to be voted off the X Factor.

The four-piece lost a sing-off for the final spot on next week's show against Ruth Lorenzo.

The four judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Wash, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole, failed to agree on which act should leave the ITV show, so it was left up to the public vote.

And Girl Band, mentored by Walsh, were declared the losers having received less votes than Lorenzo.

The girls sang Aerosmith's Don't Want To Miss A Thing as their final song as they fought to remain in the competition.

The remaining ten acts will all sing again live on next Saturday's show.
