GILL + TILLIS INDUCTED IN HALL OF FAME
Country stars VINCE GILL and MEL TILLIS and American TV personality RALPH EMERY were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday (28Oct07). Gill, 50, was praised for his successful music career with hits including When I Call Your Name and I Still Believe In You. Tillis was awarded the lifetime achievement accolade while Emery was selected in the non-performer category. Stars Emmylou Harris, Kenny Rogers and Al Anderson attended the ceremony at the Ford Theater in Nashville, Tennessee.
