GIBSON 'TOO OLD' FOR MAD MAX 4
Director GEORGE MILLER is planning a long-awaited follow-up to his MAD MAX movies - but the action sequel will not include original leading man MEL GIBSON, because he's too "old".
Australian Miller directed Gibson as police officer 'MAD' MAX ROCKATANSKY living in a post-apocalyptic world in three Mad Max movies in 1979, 1981 and 1985.
The HAPPY FEET director says, "I do want to make another Mad Max movie and get stuck back into that.
"It (the lead) won't be Mel. He was 21 when he made the first one, now he's a lot older and his passion is for film making and directing.
"I don't think he is into acting and I don't think he would be interested in being involved at all."
