Model-turned-movie hunk TYRESE GIBSON is returning to his musical roots this autumn (06) with a double album that shows off his rap and R+B talents. The ANNAPOLIS star will record one album of smooth R+B, while a second hip-hop project will be recorded under the alter-ego BLACK TY. And both personas will release simultaneous singles. Gibson is trying to make sure his rap debut is a big success after signing up the genre's heavyweights as collaborators - SNOOP DOGG, THE GAME, PAUL WALL, ICE CUBE and DAVID BANNER are among the stars making appearances on the record. The actor boasts, "Everybody and their mama's on the album; I got the whole hip-hop gang behind me." Busy Gibson is also currently working on 2007 blockbuster TRANSFORMERS after starring in summer sleeper hit WAIST DEEP with rap pal The Game.
