GIBSON MISSED BABY BIRTH
MEL GIBSON missed the birth of his new baby daughter because he was on the other side of the country when his girlfriend unexpectedly went into labour.
Oksana Grigorieva welcomed the couple's first child, Lucia, on 30 October (09) in Los Angeles, even though she wasn't due to give birth until December (09).
The singer/songwriter admits the timing took them both by surprise - because Gibson was filming in New York and she was home alone when she went into labour.
Grigorieva tells Britain's Hello magazine, "She was almost a month early. I was at home and then I got rushed to hospital, and then eight hours later, I could look at her beautiful face. It was fairly straightforward, as births go. It happened very quickly.
"He (Gibson) came a few hours later because he had to fly from New York... He is ecstatic. He is in love with her already. He's very hands-on. He has been very doting and nurturing."
Lucia is Gibson's eighth child - he has six sons and a daughter with estranged wife Robyn.
Grigorieva, 39, also has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

Since Mr.Gibson is a public personallity loved by his many fans, is it possible
that he would release
the DNA to the fans? I have a feeling this new
girlfriend is not the quiet type.. and it does seem like she is paving the way
for her and the child's financial future.

scuse me but 2 days ago, the story, same interview, in the same magazine, was
that the labor took 8 hours, and not that "it was fairly quicly".. you are
making up that article or changing its contain as things go???
Mel Gibson WAS NOT IN NEW YORK THE WEEKEND SHE GAVE BIRTH BUT IN MALIBU SINCE
THURSDAY. HE DIDNT HAD TO FLY FROM NY TO LOS ANGELES.. IT DOESNT TAKE OVER 8
HOURS OT FLY, AND HE WAS IN MALIBU.. SO IF HE WASNT THERE THATS CAUSE HE DIDNT
WANTED TO BE THERE. PERIOD!
I WONDER HOW MANY MORE LIES SHE IS GOING OT DISH OUT BEFORE WE HEAR THE TRUTH.
THE BEAVER HAD STOPED SHOTING FORM THURSDAY BEFORE HALLOWEEN WEEKEND AND ALL
HALLOWEEN WEEKEND.
MEL GIBSON WAS AT MALIBU, DIDNT CAME TO HER GIVING BIRTH, LEFT SHORT AFTER AND
RETURN TO NEW YORK SUNDAY MORNING.
HE WASNT WITH HER FOR EVEN 24 HOURS, HE WAS AT THE HOSPITLA FOR A COUPLE OF
HOURS JUST TO GET SAMPLE FOR A DNA TEST TO BE DONE.
SHE STAYED AT TEH HOSPITAL, AND MEL GIBSON LEFT IT. SHE RETURNED HOME ON SUNDAY
WITHOUT MEL GIBSON.
SHE SAID THAT THE BABY WAS BORN 2 WEEKS TOO EARLY AND HER RUSSIAN MOTHER TOLD
PEOPLE MAG THAT THE BABY WAS DUE FOR MID NOVEMBER AND NOT FOR DECEMBER,. SH EIS
CHANGING THE DATES EVEN NOW BECAUSE THE CHILD IS NOT MEL GIBSONS CHILD AND SHE
TRIES DESPERATLY TO SWITCH DATES IN ORDER TO HIDE IT FROM HIM. BUT ITS NOT
WORKING.
YOU CANNOT CHANGE A DNA TEST OKSANA, AND THAT PATERNITY TEST IS NEGATIVE: THE
BABY IS NOT MEL GIBSON'S.. MEL GIBSON IS NOT THE FATHER AND HE KNOW SO SINCE 4½
DAYS.
