GIBSON CHALLENGES STATHAM TO REAL DEATH RACE

TRANSFORMERS star TYRESE GIBSON has fast plans for 2009 - he's keen to recreate his car racing scenes in DEATH RACE for real.
The actor/model played MAChine Gun Joe Mason in the high-octane 2008 movie and he has laid down a road challenge to his co-star and pal Jason Statham.
He explains, "I've been on his head ever since we did Death Race. He's in all these big movies and I'm like, 'Yo, let's just jump on the freeway and do this for real.'
"He keeps saying, 'You're not ready brother, you're not ready.' I've called him out and he still hasn't stepped up to the plate."
