GIANT DRAG ISSUES ALBUM FUNDING PLEA

American rockers GIANT DRAG are asking fans to help pay for the recording of their sophomore album. The Los Angeles-based band has launched the fundraising initiative after record label Interscope dropped the group following the release of 2006 debut album Hearts And Unicorns. In a post on the band's MySpace.com page, frontwoman Annie Hardy writes: "Some people have recommended I put up a Paypal donation button to help speed this process up... "So finally today, with the help of my new intern Audrey, the donation button has arrived. So if you feel like giving up a buck or a million of them I'd be very grateful! "Even if it's just because you are riddled with guilt from illegally downloading the first album and you feel the need to repent, any reason will do and every penny counts."
