GETTY RECALLS BABY'S FIGHT FOR LIFE

Actor BALTHAZAR GETTY didn't have to dig too deep to play the anxious father of a sick infant for an upcoming episode of TV drama BROTHERS + SISTERS - he just recalled his own parenting nightmare.
Getty's Tommy Walker character discovers his baby daughter has a life threatening illness in the 7 December (08) episode, and admits emotional scenes brought back many bad memories of his daughter Grace's fight for life.
He tells America's TV Guide magazine, "My firstborn was severely premature and spent four months in hospital... You're so scared. So anytime I'm playing that kind of scene, all I know how to do is think about what I've been through."
