Pop star GEORGE MICHAEL has celebrated completing a two-year driving ban - by treating himself to a brand new $200,000 (£130,000) sports car.
The singer lost his license and was sentenced to community service back in 2007 after he was twice found slumped behind the wheel of his parked car in London. He pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs and later admitted an addiction to marijuana.
Michael's license was returned to him this month (Jun09) and he didn't waste any time securing himself a new set of wheels to celebrate his liberty, spending a huge sum on a newly available Ferrari California.
There's currently a three-year waiting list for the sought after sports car, which can go from 0-60 miles per hour in under four seconds.
