Troubled pop star GEORGE MICHAEL will not be going to prison for driving while unfit last year (Oct06), a magistrate has revealed. The former Wham! star was told by Katherine Marshall his sentence would either be suspended or community service instead of custodial. Michael will learn his precise fate at Brent Magistrates Court in London later today (08Jun07). He pleaded guilty last month (08May07) to a charge of driving while unfit through drugs. The singer was found slumped at the wheel of his car in the British capital after witnesses observed the vehicle weaving onto the wrong side of the road in the early hours of the morning.
