GEORGE HARRISON TO RECEIVE STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
George Harrison will be awarded a posthumous star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame at a ceremony later this month.
The former Beatle, who died of cancer in 2001, was a founding member of the Fab Four and gained worldwide fame within the group for his songwriting and guitar playing.
His widow, Olivia, and son Dhani will be present at the ceremony on April 14th in Hollywood, according to organisers.
An announcement of a new music release from the star will also be made on the same day.
Harrison began a solo career after the Beatles split up in 1970 and released a solo album, All Things Must Pass, which resulted in the number one hit My Sweet Lord.
