GEORGE HARRISON 'FORGED BEATLES AUTOGRAPHS'

George Harrison forged the Beatles' autographs for a dying fan, according to a report.

The star faked the signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, according to the Sun, to send to 16-year-old leukaemia victim Ann Bartlett.

It is thought George realised he would not be able to get the signatures in time and so copied them himself.

He died of cancer in 2001.

Ann's dad Harry told the Sun: "I'd heard in London that George was the master forger of the group."
