GELDOF QUESTIONED BY POLICE AFTER NIGHTCLUB ROW

BOB GELDOF's daughter PEACHES was questioned by police following a night out in London - after a man allegedly poured a drink over her head and threw a glass at her.
The 19-year-old was partying with friends in the British capital on Tuesday (07Apr09) but the evening turned sour when the star became embroiled in a row at trendy bar Bungalow 8.
The row is said to have been started when Geldof and her pals were forced to move from a private table - which was reserved for a group of theatre actors. The teen then allegedly threw a shoe into the crowd - infuriating one party-goer who confronted the socialite.
A source tells British newspaper Metro, "Some of the actors and their friends hit the dance floor and when they came back to the table, Peaches and her cronies had sat down and refused to move. They shouted at her 'That's not cool' and when they finally got her to shift, she lobbed a high heel at them.
"That's when one of them lost it with her and chucked a drink back at her."
Geldof claims the man then poured beer over her head and smashed the glass against a wall behind her.
Police were called to the venue in the early hours of Wednesday morning (08Apr09) and questioned Geldof and one of her pals for 25 minutes.
No arrests were made and a police spokesman confirms no further action will be taken: "Officers were summoned to a club in St Martin's Lane at about 2.45am and spoke to a number of people concerning an allegation of assault. However, the allegation could not be substantiated so no further action will be taken."
