GELDOF DEFENDS 'KISS AND TELL' AUTOBIOGRAPHY
SIR BOB GELDOF has defended his sexual boasting in 1986 autobiography IS THAT IT?, insisting he only wrote it for the money. The former BOOMTOWN RATS rocker used the book to brag about the effect he has on women, detailing how he lost his virginity when he was just 13 and crooned a woman to orgasm at one of his gigs. However, Geldof is adamant the racy content was only there to boost his bank balance. He says, "To be honest, it's so long ago I can't even remember what I wrote in that book. "But I know the reason I wrote it. After Live Aid, I was broke. I had a family to support and I needed the money."
