GELDOF ADMITS MARRIAGE IS OVER

BOB GELDOF's daughter PEACHES has ended her marriage to rocker MAX DRUMMEY after less than six months.The 19-year-old London partygirl wed New York musician Drummey, 24, in Las Vegas in September (08) following a two-week road trip together across America.
The couple's marriage has been dogged by rumours of an impending split in recent months, but until Saturday (07Feb09) Geldof had denied the claims, insisting she was very happy with Drummey.
In a statement the star says, "After much soul-searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways. Our parting is amicable and both of us still respect and care about each other immensely."
However, despite reports that Drummey is "heartbroken" by the split, Geldof insists the pair will remain pals.
She adds, "There were no other people involved in this decision and we both look forward to a future as good friends.”
