British pop singer GARETH GATES insists he could be a movie star like his idols BRUCE WILLIS and ROWAN ATKINSON because they both overcame speech impediments to carve successful film careers. The ANYONE OF US (STUPID MISTAKE) singer, who found fame on TV talent show POP IDOL, has almost lost his stammer after undergoing therapy and sees no reason why he can't try his hand at acting. He says, "It was only recently I learned (Bruce and Rowan) used to have stammers, too. "I'm amazed at what they achieved and acting in movies is something I have always wanted to do."
