GATELY TO SING LEAD VOCALS IN TRIBUTE TRACK

The surviving members of BOYZONE are using archived recordings of STEPHEN GATELY's singing voice to release a track in their tragic bandmate's honour.
The boyband was left devastated in October (09) after Gately died from a build-up of fluid in his lungs while asleep at his holiday home in Majorca, Spain.
But they're determined to continue with plans to release an album - and they're remixing old recordings to showcase Gately's voice on a new track they co-wrote with pop star Mika.
Singer Ronan Keating says, "We have voice files and can move things to allow him to shine more. It's going to be the biggest song of next year, I promise. We're doing it for Stephen, his fans, his family and for us as a band. He had the voice of an angel."
