GARRISON WARNS AGAINST DRINK-DRIVING IN VIDEO
Actor LANE GARRISON has recorded a public service announcement (PSA) video warning people against drink-driving.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, driving under the influence and to providing alcohol to a minor in May (07).
In December 2006, Vahagn Sedian was a passenger in Garrison's Land Rover when the actor lost control of the vehicle and crashed after leaving a pre-Christmas party. The 17-year-old was later pronounced dead in hospital
A tearful Garrison has now recorded a PSA for the Troy And Alana Pack Foundation, a non-profit organisation which campaigns for safer roads.
In the clip, which recreates the fatal accident, Garrison says, "Just don't drink and drive, it's not worth it, it's just not worth it."
If found guilty, he faces a maximum prison sentence of six years and eight months. Garrison is free on $100,000 (GBP50,000) bail and is due back in court on 2 August (07).
