GARRAWAY VOTED OFF STRICTLY
GMTV presenter Kate Garraway became the latest Strictly Come Dancing casualty as judges unanimously voted her off the show.
The television presenter was up against footballing legend John Barnes in the final two and struggled with their dance, scoring a measly 21 out of 40 points.
Judge Bruno had told her that "a bull in a frock would have done a better paso doble" and, when it came to the crunch, Barnes' tango was enough to keep him in the competition.
Chief judge Len Goodman, who was not required to vote, said: "I did agree that they both danced better, but my decision would have gone with John and Nicole."
Garraway said: "I've had a cracking run, let's be honest. If I can do it even a little bit well, I hope people outside join a club and have some fun."
Just seven dancing pairs now remain. Based on tonight's scores it's Alesha and Matt who are setting the pace, dropping just two points to win the highest mark of the series.
