Hollywood actress JENNIFER GARNER turned storyteller on Tuesday (05May09), reading to kids in Washington, D.C. in her first official act as an ambassador for Save the Children.

Garner was in the city to lobby the U.S. government for an extra $2 billion (£1.3 billion) in funding for early childhood education, reports People.com.
