GARETH GATES IS A DAD

British pop star GARETH GATES and his wife SUZANNE are celebrating the birth of their first child.
Suzanne delivered a baby girl, called Missy, early on Monday (06Apr09).
In a statement, thrilled dad Gates, 24, says, "We are so excited. Missy is beautiful and we can't wait to spend time together as a family."
The singer shot to fame in the first ever series of Pop Idol - the UK version of American Idol.
He released three studio albums, with limited success, before making the switch to musical theatre - and is currently starring in the West End version of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
