GALLAGHER'S LENNON TRIBUTE WAS NINE YEARS IN THE MAKING

OASIS star LIAM GALLAGHER has finally completed a tribute song to his idol JOHN LENNON - nine years after he started writing it.
The Wonderwall rocker confesses the track I'm Outta Time has been in the works for almost a decade.
He says, "That took me f**king nine years to write. I only finished it last week."
But the final version has won him praise from his brother Noel
Gallagher, who admits he doesn't expect anything less than brilliance from any member of the band.
The guitarist tells website musicradar.com, "I like Liam's songs, I wasn't surprised (at I'm Outta Time's quality). He's expected to write great songs, he's in Oasis."
