GALLAGHER TO STAR IN MOVIE

OASIS rocker LIAM GALLAGHER is eyeing an acting career - he's signed up to star in a movie about the music business.
The singer will appear in the big screen version of Kevin Sampson's novel Powder, based on a rock band's struggle with sex and drugs following their rise to fame.
Gallagher, who recently turned fashion designer with his own Pretty Green clothing line, will appear alongside dance music veteran Guru Josh in the film.
Josh, real name Paul Walden, revealed the news on his website, writing, "Guru Josh will act as himself alongside co-star Liam Gallagher. Is the world ready for Liam Gallagher and Guru Josh together on the silver screen? Is Liam Gallagher ready for Guru Josh?"
Gallagher will begin filming his scenes when the current Oasis tour ends in August (09).
