GAGA: 'I LEARNED MY TRADE IN CLUBS'

Pop sensation LADY GAGA has hit out at TV talent show wannabes - after knocking THE X FACTOR winner ALEXANDRA BURKE off the top of the U.K. charts.
The U.S. singer occupies the number slot with her first U.K. release Just Dance, having toppled Burke's cover of the Leonard Cohen classic Hallelujah.
And the rising star, real name Joanne Stefani Germanotta, is adamant she has done things the right way - unlike talent show contestants who are handed instant stardom.
She tells U.K. newspaper The Daily Record, "I did this the way you are supposed to. I played every club in New York and found myself as an artist.
"I learned how to survive as an artist and how to fail and then figure out who I was as a singer and performer. And I worked hard."
