FUTUREHEADS: RADIOHEAD ARE 'HYPOCRITICAL'
Rockers THE FUTUREHEADS were disappointed when fellow British band RADIOHEAD released their album IN RAINBOWS in stores - because it went against their revolutionary Internet download concept. Radiohead made history last year (07) when they released their seventh LP online as a pay-what-you-want download. But months later, they distributed the album to be sold in stores for a set price - a move The Futureheads strongly disagreed with, reports Gigwise.com. The band's frontman Barry Hyde says, "They are in a league of their own. But what disappointed us was that they released it physically after. That was kind of hypocritical."
