FURTADO PLANS SPANISH GIG
Singer NELLY FURTADO has such a passion for Hispanic culture, she vows to perform her next gig in Spanish. The 29-year-old Canadian-born singer of Portuguese decent will test her language skills when she performs at the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile on Wednesday (20Feb08). She tells People En Espanol.com, "I definitely feel Hispanic, I feel Latina. "I have a very very strong connection with my culture. Singing in Spanish and singing in Portuguese is an extension of my love for my culture."
