NELLY FURTADO will never hit the gym like MADONNA to retain her sexy pop star looks when she's 50 - because she'd rather embrace middle age and enjoy herself.
The 30-year-old Maneater singer doesn't want to be in the public eye for the rest of her life - and she refuses to spend hours exercising like the super-healthy Material Girl just to keep herself in the charts.
She says, "I am not ready to adjust physically, just to be marketable. My sell-by date will run out eventually.
"Unlike Madonna, I wouldn't be willing to do Pilates round the clock, just to slow down the deterioration of my body. I prefer to sit in the kitchen, drink tea and eat biscuits."
