SIR ELTON JOHN's partner DAVID FURNISH wears a lock of the star's hair around his neck for luck.
Furnish, who married the legendary musician in a civil partnership in 2005, admits that he won't go to an important event unless he has the charm with him.
He says, "I have around my neck a little tiny locket and it has a lock of Elton's baby hair and a picture of him as a baby. I wear it for important occasions - when I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and on airplanes. It's a talisman that makes me feel protected, like I've got him with me all the time."
