FRY'S 'NOT THAT CLEVER'

British funnyman STEPHEN FRY has played down reports of his superior intelligence, insisting he is not as clever as people think. The Gosford Park star, 50, has previously been named the cleverest man on British television, but he claims he isn't worthy of the acclaim. He says, "I'm far from that and I don't have the answer for everything. I've frequently been lost for words and dumbfounded by people who are far more intelligent than I am. I think I have been blessed with two things - big feet and a big memory."
