British comedian and author Stephen Fry has been added to the cast of the Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit, which is currently shooting in New Zealand.
Director/producer Peter Jackson broke the latest casting news via his Facebook.com page on Wednesday (18May11).
Fry will play The Master of Laketown in the film.
The film's cast features fellow Brits Sir Ian MCKellen, Christopher Lee, Orlando Bloom and Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins.
