FROST/NIXON HEADS TO BROADWAY

Smash hit London play FROST/NIXON is opening on Broadway in New York following its successful run on the West End stage. The production, about the infamous 1977 TV interviews between disgraced former US President RICHARD NIXON and British chat show host DAVID FROST, opens at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre on 22 April (07). Previews begin on 31 March (07). Frost/Nixon, which closes in London next month (FEB07), stars FRANK LANGHELLA and MICHAEL SHEEN - both are up for Best Actor at Britain's prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards next month (FEB07), and will also star in the play's Broadway production. Frost/Nixon writer PETER MORGAN yesterday (23JAN07) received a Best Screenplay Oscar nomination for THE QUEEN.
