British actress ANNA FRIEL is struggling to come to terms with spending Christmas in California - because the climate is too hot. The Pushing Daisies star has relocated to Los Angeles with Harry Potter actor David Thewlis and she's bracing herself for a warm, humid festive season away from England. She says, "I've never, ever not had a Christmas at home with my parents and L.A. seems the wrong environment for it. "There are sleighs and Santas, but you're in the desert. They should make Santa wear a Hawaiian shirt or something."
