FREEMAN TRIAL DATE SET

Hollywood actor MORGAN FREEMAN is set to come face-to-face with the woman accusing him of causing a serious car crash in court next year (10).
Freeman and Demaris Meyer were involved in a collision in Tennessee last August (08), which resulted in the Shawshank Redemption star breaking his arm and shoulder.
Meyer filed a lawsuit in February (09) that alleged Freeman was drinking alcohol in the hours leading up to the crash.
She claimed she sustained a broken wrist, a torn labrum in her shoulder and various other bruises and lacerations.
She is suing for damages to cover medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, as well as permanent disability for her short term memory loss.
Freeman has denied the crash was his fault.
But Meyer will get her day in court - the trial date has been set for 9 August, 2010 in Oxford, Mississippi.
