FRATELLIS CANCELLATION CONFUSION

THE FRATELLIS have been talking about the recent cancellation of their European tour, claiming the reason given on their official website was not true.

After pulling out of their European dates, the band's website said it was due to "unforeseen recording commitments".

However, frontman Jon said this was not the case, claiming that is was due to an issue between promoters and managers.

On the subject of the website announcement, he told the BBC: "It means nothing and I’m not going to go into the reasons why the dates were chopped. We weren’t happy that they were but it wasn’t to do with recording.

"Hopefully we’ll do them again as part of a bigger European tour next year."

He added that the band is disappointed about the turn of events and hopes to go back to honour the cancelled dates in the new year.

The band are due to play the final night of the Little Noise Sessions on November 18th.
