FRANKLIN GOES CLASSICAL

ARETHA FRANKLIN spent the summer learning to play the piano for a forthcoming album of classical covers.
The legendary diva plans to sing and play on the LP, and studied with classically-trained musicians at New York's prestigious Juilliard School.
She reveals, "I came to New York this summer and I took some classical piano lessons. Just the basics. I'm going to sing arias too. Nessum Dorma."
Franklin fans also have a Christmas album to look forward to. Her festive LP This Christmas is due out this month (Oct08).

She spent an ENTIRE summer learning to play the piano. That would be opposed to the truly gifted musicians who have spent decades learning how to properly play this instrument. For this marginally talented diva to use her celebrity to make money when really good pianists struggle to make a living is simply disgusting. She makes me sick anyway - she is not that good of a singer, she just got lucky. Go ahead and buy into this garbage. The musical prowess of the American public is less than embarrasing. My arguement - rap.
