FRANCO ATTEMPTS TO APOLOGISE TO TYRESE GIBSON
SPIDER-MAN villain JAMES FRANCO is blaming the extreme lengths he goes to to tackle a role on the bust-up that cost him his friendship with Annapolis co-star Tyrese Gibson.
The 2 Fast 2 Furious star blasted Franco in a Playboy interview in February (07), insisting he'd never work the super-serious actor again after falling out with him on the set of Annapolis.
And Franco accepts the fall out might have been his fault, and admits he has approached Gibson to apologise.
He tells Complex magazine, "We've made up, or I tried to make up with him.
"Maybe I was too into that role. I don't try to be mean to anybody on a movie. In the past I've tended to isolate (myself), and maybe people take that as me being rude or me not liking them, but it's really a way for me to stay in my character.
"I really had nothing personal against Tyrese, but I guess there were a lot of misunderstandings."
In his Playboy interview, Gibson growled, "I never want to work with him again, and I'm sure he feels the same way. It felt very personal. It was f**ked-up."

Since Tyrese never went into detail about this matter, I dismissed it. There's
no story without any detail. I also have commented on the 'net that since
Franco is a Method Actor, Tyrese probably didn't know that or he didn't
understand it. I'm sure he does now. It's time for him to move on & stop
holding a grudge. James hand-picked him for the role of Lt. Matt Cole & THIS is
how he thanks him?!?
James, you've done your part by apologizing. If Tyrese chooses not to accept
that, there's nothing else to do but just move on. Don't sweat the small stuff.
