LATEST: GIRLS GONE WILD creator JOE FRANCIS is begging not to be returned to the Florida prison in which he was tortured and starved. Francis is currently being held in a Reno, Nevada, jail where he is awaiting trial for federal tax evasion, but must return to the Panama City, Florida, jail if he posts bail in Nevada. He tells New York gossip column PageSix, "I fear for my life if I have to go back there (Florida). These are scary people down there. If I get sent back, they will retaliate. I think I would have been dead or I'd be drooling in a cup (if I stayed). "They treated me like I was a terrorist. They'd put my food just out of reach and laugh with each other, 'Oh, I guess Joe wasn't hungry today.'" In Florida, the 34-year-old was jailed for contempt and now faces charges in the state for using two minors in a videotaped sex performance in 2003.
