FOXX: 'THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MICHAEL JACKSON'
Oscar winner JAMIE FOXX will never forget watching MICHAEL JACKSON with his brothers on their Victory tour in 1983 - because he was surrounded by people fainting.
The actor/singer learned of his hero's death in the middle of a TV interview on Thursday (25Jun09) and had to compose himself before paying tribute to the King of Pop.
And it was a special memory that came to the Ray star as he searched for a suitable statement.
He told U.S. TV news show Extra, "Seeing him in concert in 1983, the Victory concert with his brothers, to watch people faint in the audience. Grown men fainting. Women fainting just because he was that dynamic.
"You cannot say enough about what he has given to us musically and culturally. We take for granted people like him... all he wanted to do was give us great music and that's what he did. Every single day was dedicated to us.
"What a great time. What a great entertainer. There will never be anybody (like him)."
